12th February, 2007. 7:07 am. expository essay to printer down stairs

"Behold the dreamer. Let us slay him, and we will see what will become of his dream," reads the grave site at Martin Luther King's Memorial. The message that these words hold are that after the visionary is gone, his vision may thrieve, flurish, and impact the world. Mr
King dreamed of a world where racism and segregation was a past time. He thought of a world where people were not "judged by the color of their skin, but the content of their character." The a person was judged upon their acts and not their herichage.
Mr. King spoke; people listened. His assination only drove further his point that this world called for a change. A change in the south, but greater then that, a change for a country. He went back to our counrties most basic dream. "We hold these truths to be self evident: that all men are created equal." Repeated throughout history, for the first time since their birth these words held more then letters; they held a dream. We as a human race put here by God almighty are equal. White only establishments are against the law today in America. America is for everyone. Organizations like NAACP exsisted to help this change in socity. Affirmative Action also helped create equal job oppertunties and rights to education. All not possible, and sparked by Mr. King's Passion, Enthusism, and Leadership.
Even though Mr. King's efforts brought our society to the point we are at today, Some of his dreams remained unfulfilled. The southern States are still extremely Racist. In these states it is hard to say, and is mostly a matter of opinion on weather justice is equal. Martin Luther dreamed of a day when everyone of every race, and religion would join hands and be able to sing," Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, we are free at last!" This day is still yet to come. As a nation we are not past the point of seeing color yet. We still notice who is black, who is white, who is from the middle east. America is not free, not free from our own judgements, not free from our sins, and our spites, not yet. Hopefully someday the last bit of racism, predijust, and hate will parish and this dream may finaly soar.

And America will be Free at Last!

11th February, 2007. 10:14 pm. senior change poem

looking into your eyes
fills my heart
you put my whole world back together
after everything fell apart

being held in you arms is a promise
that forever i am safe next to you
whispers of sweet nothings
and giggles of the silly things we do

Touching you is a reminder
of the warmth you are for me
Kissing you brings dreams
of what we are, and what we may be

Next to you, is just a lesson
In how perfect God's plan is
broken heart were healed
the moment we first kissed

Everything i always wanted
Everything i didn't know i needed
For everything i ever hoped and dreams
You met, and exceeded.

5th February, 2007. 7:00 am. senior poem for Ms. Ewan

I'll admit right now
my senior year is a blast
but in the begining
It went downhill fast

Somewhere first quarter
i must've tripped
and while i was down
I was continuously kicked

A world fallen apart
of broken hearts and tears
relizing who my true friends were
and seeing my own worst fears

My relationships, My dreams
My life was up in smoke
And by this point i hated the things
I once loved most

Hurt by a teacher
betrayed by their rejection
but when you hit the lowest low
You're left with only one direction

That's when i found
I wasn't alone
and the evils in our life
were over thrown

I found Friends that would stick
Through the rough, and thin
And now the fun of being a senior
really sunk in

And then i met someone
so nice, so sweet
My own personal superman
sent to sweep me off my feet

everything bad
just faded away
leaving me
with a smiling across my face

Now life is full of joy
full of happiness, full of laughter
i guess everything happens for a reason
as for me i found my happily ever after

18th November, 2006. 10:49 am. almost fun...

the last game was almost fun, but that would be bad right. If we accutly had a little fun this season.

Oh and did i mention i hate b****** who think they own the band because they're 19 and their nice band teacher who doesn't see the true them threw them a bone.

Okay wake up. You're 19. You have no respect from me or over half the band because you havn't EARNED IT!!!

And people just have a funny way of reacting like they F***ing hate you when you sh** on them.

And don't even pretend you didn't act the same way when you were in high school in the stand, or on the walk, because you can't f-ing fool me. I was there.

Move on with your life, and next time you're dealing with people try not to let a tech poistion go to your head.

okay, i feel better.
